Hello KUSMA Leadership
On Friday, November 11, 2011 Student Life will be hosting the Remembrance Role Call on 11-11-11, a once in a century date. The event serves to recognize over 6,243 United States servicemen who’ve fallen in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as of September 15, 2011.
It’s anticipated that the ceremony will be 8 hours long as we call the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Therefore to ensure we are able to support this event we’re asking for volunteers who can help read the names of fallen soldiers. We are looking for 30 readers to help during the event.
Additional information for volunteers, along with a brief training will be provided at a later date. The event will be hosted in adobe connect and those reading will need access to a headset or microphone that can be hooked to their computer.

9:10 am–2:00 pm ET: Roll Call
2:00 pm–2:01 pm ET: National Moment of Silence
